work week

we had a great day on Monday.  replaced or repaired mile markers 5 through 18. the only wildlife we seen were some huge turkeys. some of the markers were by the road while others were 1/2 mile or more into the woods.  it was a beautiful day for hiking.

Tuesday was a rain day.  which means no work..  since we were up and dressed we headed for the laundromat.  after a great lunch of shrimp and oyster po bo's, regular and sweet potato fries we had to decide what the afternoon would bring.  should we go to the art museum? or the aquarium? or the movies? or home to take a nap?  well the nap won out.  it has been more than a week since we took a nap and thought we deserved one.  great rainy day to read a book and take a nap...

Wednesday we worked again on mile markers. they were off a bit so we did a lot of walking back and forth through the woods.  it was a beautiful day for a walk..

Thursday we raked and picked up leaves right here at Buck Hall..

it took us the full day to rake and pick up the leaves.  after a full (well kind of full) work week we need to realax..

it was a good work week, although Tues was a rain day...  we did do laundry so that was work..

we have a busy weekend planned...  the weather is suppose to be good. looking forward to having some time off...
