well a winter storm passed through here on Monday morning. it was very icy, no snow, with bridges closed and delays in businnesses openings. our work day was called off, too dangerous to drive and it was raining/sleeting all day.

So we did what anyone would do in our position, we went to see "True Grit". not a bad movie.. we had a large bucket of popcorn, ate one there, got it refilled then took it home.
today there is still ice on the roads, so we are delayed in getting started. hopefully we will see someone about noon to get us doing some kind of work.. rumor is we will powerwash the day use bathrooms, getting them ready for painting.. the temp is about 34 deg right now. we will not see high 50's (normals temp) until Sat. expecting another cold week here in the lowcountry. might need to purchase more long underwear!!!
Haven't been reading for a couple of days, but after catching up I'm thinking weather could be much better, but eating makes up for it.... Right??
