A day at the Beach

we lazed around in the morning then headed to Folly Beach, south of Charleston. beautiful sunny day.

there is a pretty long fishing pier that reaches out into the ocean. 

somebody caught a shark..

Eric is working on bleaching his hair and suntan while waiting for lunch..

a 10 ounce Angus Ground Chuck (ground on the premises) with pimento cheese and apple smoked bacon and hand cut fries... very very good!

it became quite windy and cool so our stay on the beach was not too long.  we were going to go to a local place for dinner but could not wait around until 5:30 for the place to open.  we headed home, picked up some BBQ, Ribs, pulled pork and chicken!  all was good, lots of left overs!

the evening was very nice, good fire and a good time to roast marshmallows...

they were pretty good, we could actually taste the chocolate!

we are finally getting "normal" weather...

it might be a bit hot to work!!! but love the forecast..
