Sebree KY

Monday November 7 2010  St Lous to Sebree KY

Left out of the campground at about 7:30 with the temp at 45 deg F. it was very sunny and of course we were heading east right into the sun.   Traffic was not too bad and the roads were fine. 

We arrived at Kathy and Noble's at about 1:30, just in time for alate lunch! Kathy had made tons of food for lunch, pork roast, potatoes, rice and chicken casserole, baked apples, pickles etc.  beans and of course sweet tea.  Everything was great.  We had to wait until later in the evening to eat dessert as we were way too full!
We had a great evening visiting with all of the relatives, Jenny, Ritchie and their 3 chldren,  Aunt Betty and cousin Jenny, and Kathy's mom Inmogene and her husband Norman.  Of course I forgot to get the camera out!!!

We spent Tues with them too.  Eating and visiting,,,  think we gained at least 5 pounds in two days but it was worth it as the food was fabulous!  Went to Henderson for BBQ ribs, so far the best ribs we had, but.... Memphis is on the schedule...    We went to one of the grandsons basketball games, on th way we went through Center City, home of the Everly Bros and just up the road was the home of Bill Monroe!!
